Better Breathers Clubs
Patient/family support groups for adults with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or COPD, provide instruction to lung patients and their families through monthly meetings. The meetings feature lectures from health care professionals, and an opportunity for sharing information with other members. Studies have shown that well-informed patients require fewer hospital stays and doctor visits.
