Open Airways for Schools®
Open Airways for Schools (OAS) is now being used in thousands of schools nationwide. The OAS education program is an interactive program designed to empower children and their parents to take control of asthma. The program teaches children, aged 8-11, how to detect the warning signs of asthma, including the environmental factors that can trigger an attack. Please call us to find out where OAS is taking place in your community.
Asthma Camp
Residential asthma camps for asthmatic children 8-14. It provides a mechanism for them to enjoy camp activities under medical supervision while learning to understand their disease and how to cope with it on a daily basis. Please contact a local office for more information on the cost and location.
Asthma Screening
Over 15,000 Nevada elementary school children were invited to participate in an annual screening for asthma. Free Pulmonary Function Tests are offered to those whose test results indicate a possibility of asthma.
