1st Annual Lungs on Legs in Reno

Registration begins at 7:00 am, warm-up is at 7:45, and the race starts at 8:00 am.

The adventurous courses go threw walking trails and roads, under Nevada's big blue sky, with views of mountains on each side. It's a fast, flat course for the Half Marathon and 10K runner, and winding walking trail for the 5K runner.

State of the Air Report 2008 Released
The American Lung Association State of the Air 2008 found that 125 million Americans live in areas with dangerous air pollution levels, and warned that the trends show air pollution levels stalling at levels that are still dangerous to millions.

Unhealthful levels of particle pollution create serious, even life-threatening risks for many people, including children, teens and seniors, and people with asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, cardiovascular disease and diabetes. See the full report here>
